Built in 1942, the Mantell Plaza was completely renovated in 1994. From the tastefully-appointed lobby, all the way back to the beautiful pool and meticulous grounds, care has been taken to maintain the authentic art deco motif while offering modern conveniences and amenities.

The main floor Great Room, with a capacity of 50, is ideal for parties, meetings and business presentations. It features large comfy sofas, tables and chairs, as well as kitchen facilities. Catering can also be arranged for your Great Room functions.

Exercise Room
You can keep muscles toned on your vacation in the exercise room on the main level. After your workout, you're just steps away from a refreshing dip in the pool.
Coin-operated laundry facilities are available on the main floor (U.S. quarters only). Parking is available at The Mantell Plaza, however it is scarce in the heart of South Beach. Since the South Beach area is compact and easy to get around, you really don't need a car, unless you are stopping on your way to/from The Keys. The Mantell Plaza is located in a residential zoned parking area requiring a permit. Temporary permits are available for our guests who let us know in advance if they have a car. If you want to plan a day excursion during your stay, there are several car rental agencies within 2 blocks. Plus, day tours are available, departing from one or 2 blocks away.

Also, if you're flying in to the Miami International airport, you can pick up flat fare transportation from the airport to The Mantell for as little as $18/each on SuperShuttle (shared ride), or a flat $28.00 cab rate. If you're flying into Ft. Lauderdale International airport, you can also pick up flat fare transportation on Airport Express between the airport and The Mantell for $15.00 (shared) or $50 (direct).

Welcome to Miami Beach from I195 East
Directions from the Miami Airport:
There are four exit routes from the airport. Follow the "Blue 2", which will take you to State Road #112. Take that expressway to I195, and follow I195 East across the bay to Miami Beach (approx. 6 miles). When you see the "Welcome to Miami Beach" sign, keep to the left, and count nine (9) traffic signals to Pine Tree Drive, then turn right. Go to 24th Street, turn left and go one block. You will see The Mantell Plaza on your left.
